Tour Guide

Covering an area of 425 square miles, Hong Kong comprises of Hong Kong Island, the Kowloon Peninsula and the New Territories. At the core is Victoria Harbour, which separates Hong Kong Island from Kowloon and beyond that, the New Territories that run up to the periphery with Mainland China. Making up the bulk of Hong Kong's land mass, the New Territories incorporate 262 outlying islands, including Lantau where the airport is located. Hong Kong is innately home to several popular attractions and sightseeing opportunities throughout the territory. Hong Kong Island with its financial hub is the energetic heartbeat of the region, where cloud-tickling skyscrapers, neon light night spectacular, fine dining, high-end shopping and world-class hotels are all part of the landscape

Life here runs too fast to catch up with. Asia’s most multi-ethnic city, everyone in Hong Kong seems to be in a dash— hurrying off to work in some soaring high-rise, hastening to catch a tram or a subway, shopping through the countless shopping malls, rushing to catch up with friends at one of the numerous glassed-in restaurants and modish cocktail bars. Beyond the 21st-century disharmony and the hastened pulse, however, the savoir-faire tourist can find glimpses of quaint tranquillity: incense-wreathed Taoist temples; genteel eateries serving afternoon tea in the English style; rustic and far-flung walking trails; and refined tai-chi practitioners in tidy city parks. Hong Kong has a relatively small size and a huge population yet it superbly manages its public transportation system with cheap taxis and bilingual signage making it a cake walk to take the helm.

Weather:
The summer temperature is in the region 26 - 33°C and the winter is cooler ranging between 14 - 20°C. Rain showers are possible from May to September.

Local Transport:
Mass Transit Railway, Trams, Taxis and Star Ferry connects Hong Kong far and wide.
